This in considered an intermediate skill level quilt kit, due to sewing on fabric bias. Feel free to pick a bolder accent colour over the black, white would look very dramatic! You would need to purchase that separate as that is not what we kitted. You can also use this kit to many other quilt patterns. You are essentially getting jelly roll strips and 0.9m of the black coordinating print.
