The pattern is designed to make many different sizes. Your kit has enough fabric for your centre before borders to finish at 77” x 95”. In the pattern this size suggests a 6” border to bring it up to a 89” x 107”. We typically sew 2 borders on our log cabin quilts. An inner small border and a larger outer border. We do not include the borders to allow you the customer to tweak your quilt to the exact size that would fit your bed/matrices.
This has been one of our best selling kits for over 8 years now. A real crowd pleaser. Many customers like to make this quilt for gifts as the colour palette is scrappy and works with many neutral wall colours. We use a wide range of Civil War prints to make this kit.
